Mini Copula

Not every copula needs to be huge, as was the case here. The customer wanted a mini version of an existing copula on the main part of his home to set over a new entryway to his home. Our coppersmiths worked off of pictures of the existing copula to produce the scale version that you see here in the final cleanup process.

Historic Metal Facade Restoration

This was a full restoration project that we were called upon to recreate. The old metal facade that was original to the building was failing and beyond repair. We faithfully reproduced each section using a paint grip galvanized metal to ensure many decades of service. This historic building is located at 29th and Meridian in Indianapolis, IN.

Zinc Countertop

For areas where you desire a silver metallic look, but want something other than stainless, and yet you want a metal more resilient and lest costly than pewter. Zinc is an Ideal alternative to these metals. It can kept polished or let it develop it's characteristic metallic-green patina over time. Please forgive our photographers sense of humor. We should also note that the alloy of sink that we employ contains just enough copper and titanium to give it enhanced durability characteristics over pure zinc.

Zinc Range Hood

Zinc is increasing in popularity as an alternative to stainless steel, as well as an alternative to costly and soft pewter. Zinc also develops a mild metallic green patina over time that is truly unique. Call us for more details. This hood was clad in smooth zinc, with brass to contrast on the standing seams.

This work was designed off both existing examples and historical photographs of what originally existed on the home. Not having the actual finials to pattern from, our coppersmiths had to rely on their experience and what little existing documentation there was available to replicate this piece for the homeowner. Custom collector (or scupper) boxes is one of our specialties! We built 20 of these for a high profile residence in Hawaii. They provided a transition from an Internal PVC gutter system, to an external copper downspout system. A closer look reveals that there is a removable cover to facilitate access to the clean out pug from the outside.
