A copper backsplash gives your kitchen a warm, rustic appearance. It not only provides a sleek or textured backdrop for your kitchen decor, but also makes it look more spacious. Hence, it is a great option if you have a particularly small kitchen. In addition to style and versatility, copper also offers many advantages. Copper backsplashes are extremely durable and low on maintenance. Clean with a cotton dish towel, hot water and a mild soap. Since it shouldn’t get to dirty, or a lot of wear, you can re-wax it with “Johnson’s Paste Wax” every 6 months to a year.

You can choose hammered or smooth copper and any of our patina’s applied to our backsplash sheeting. We can do custom designs, like our brick pattern or something you design. We use 16oz. (0.025" thick) pure copper. We offer thicker sheeting options of 20 oz. copper (.034 thick) and 32 oz. copper (.050 thick) for an extra fee. We can also cut it to fit your cabinets and plugs, if we have good measurements, if everything is square enough for measurements to work. A template of the space would be the best way to accomplish this. We also offer full size sheets of copper up to 4’ wide by 10’ long in smooth, hammered or with a patina.
As with all of our copper products, our backsplashes will come with a coat of wax already on it. Circle City Copperworks can also hammer and/or patina full or partial flat sheets of copper. You can be creative and make whatever you want from our custom copper sheets. We can typically roll them up and put them in cardboard tubes and ship UPS, also making it more economical.
